Site work and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in New Windsor, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel.
Professional engineering services for the rehabilitation of the Plum Point Bridge. The County manages a park on the east side of the bridge carrying Plum Point Lane over the railroad in the Town of New Windsor (the "Bridge"). The Bridge was recently damaged by a fire and is currently closed to traffic, restricting access to the County's park. The Bridge is a 3-span, multi-girder, painted steel bridge supported by timber frame piers which crosses over an active railway line owned and operated by CSX Transportation ("CSX"). The goal of this project is the repair of the Bridge such that is can be reopened to vehicular and pedestrian traffic. The County expects to bid out the repair work immediately once the construction documents are complete and approved. The successful offeror awarded the Contract (the "Engineer") will provide services as stated in the annexed Owner - Architect/Engineer Agreement and General Conditions, according to the terms stated therein and the additional specifications listed in this RFP.
