Providing new partitions, doors, finishes, etc. at Building 'A', Building 'A2', and Building 'T' where indicated. Providing new shop equipment and relocating existing shop equipment. Providing replacement of existing HVAC system, vents, ductwork, and other mechanical equipment. Providing new plumbing fixtures, piping, and connections. Providing new electrical outlets and light fixtures. Performing work in separate construction phases, as required for renovation of Owner-occupied spaces within areas of work. The cost for this project is estimated to be between $5 million and $7 million The project is located at the Noman M. Cole, Jr. Water Recycling Facility (NMCWRF) in Fairfax County's Mount Vernon District at 9399 Richmond Highway, Lorton, VA 22079, a 67 million-gallon-per day (MGD) Advanced Wastewater Treatment Plant with peak flows up to 120 MGD that runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. With multiple other construction work taking place at the NMCWRF, all work will have to be completed in phases to maintain the NMCWRF's continuous operational needs.
