Renovation of a golf course in Lorton, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a golf course.
This project includes the renovations of holes #1, #3, #15, and #17 as described in the supplemental general conditions and the golf course improvements spreadsheet provided. Sealed bids may be received by mail, in person, or electronically as stated in the requirements. For bids submitted in person or via delivery service, label bids to the attention of the Director of Planning and Development and include the bidder's name and the project name on the outside. For bids submitted via email, include the bidder's name and project name in the subject line, send attachments as PDFs (not in the email body), and notify the NOVA Parks Project Manager at least 24 hours in advance of intent to submit electronically. A five percent bid bond or certified check must be submitted with all sealed bids over $500,000. All bids and bid bonds must remain valid for ninety days. Performance and Labor and Material Payment bonds are required for awarded contracts over $500,000. Contract documents, including the Project Manual and Golf Course Improvements 2026 – Pohick Bay Golf Course, are available from the NOVA Parks website. Bidders are responsible for obtaining and verifying any addenda prior to the bid date. All questions about the project or bid process must be in writing and sent via email to the Project Manager. Bidders must formally register with NOVA Parks by contacting Leslie Preble and providing the required information.
