This project includes the extension of an existing water main to service the Pirates Cove water park building. The existing building is currently served by a well, which will be disconnected from the building and replaced with a new line. The existing well line will connect to the new line with a new tee and valve and continue to provide service to the existing pool slides. The contractor shall furnish all equipment, material, and labor in accordance with the plans and project manual. The project is to be completed by Directional Boring and following the engineered plans provided, in order to limit land disturbance and avoid impact to existing trees or other utilities. Bids must be submitted by mail, in person, or electronically according to the outlined procedures. Bidders must include a bid bond or certified check for bids over $500,000, and performance and payment bonds are required for awarded contracts over $500,000. Bidders are required to formally register and provide company and contact information. Bids must reflect an estimated completion time, with expected commencement the first week of April 1st, 2026 if awarded. A Five percent bid bond or certified check must be submitted with the sealed bid for all total bids over $500,000. The total bid shall be determined by the sum of the base bid and all alternates. All bids and bid bonds shall remain valid for ninety days.
