The purpose of this Invitation for Bid Document is for Worcester County ("County") to contract for construction of the Sunset Avenue Relief Sewer Project in the Mystic Harbour Service Area, including approximately 2,500 LF of 10-inch HDPE sewer force main installed by horizontal directional drilling, approximately 320 LF of 10-inch PVC or HDPE sewer main, a 4-inch sewer interconnector, valves, connections, pavement restoration, tracer system, traffic control, testing, restoration, and all related work shown or specified in the Contract Documents. The last date/time to submit questions for clarification will be noon on September 23, 2026 Questions must be addressed in writing to the Worcester County Procurement Officer at purchasing@worcestermd.gov. The County is seeking a qualified, licensed utility contractor to furnish all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, temporary works, permits, testing, traffic control, erosion and sediment control , restoration, and incidentals required to construct a complete and operational relief sewer force main. The Work is located along Sunset Avenue in the Mystic Harbour Service Area, Berlin, Maryland, and shall conform to the sealed five-sheet plan set prepared by J. W. Salm Engineering, Inc., the Bid Item Descriptions dated August 2026, these Bid Documents, issued addenda, and applicable County and regulatory requirements
