Reconstruction of the Selway Wilderness Suspension Trail Bridge. Work is being procured as a commercial item acquisition and is reserved for small business concerns under NAICS Code 237310. Contractors are requested to provide quotations for performing the bridge reconstruction work. QUESTIONS DUE: Questions shall be submitted via email to the Contracting Officer, Wes Dudley at wesley.dudley@usda.gov. Questions are due no later than September 14, 2026, at 12:00 P.M. Mountain Time. This will ensure enough time to respond before the solicitation period ends. Please include the solicitation name and number as the subject line of the email. Project Location The Selway Suspension Bridge is remotely located along the Middle Fork Salmon River, within the Bitterroot Selway Wilderness. Travel from air or pack will be necessary to reach this remote location. Selway Suspension Bridge: (Trail 4.3, MP 0.0) (45.917889_, -114.827711_) Trail between Running Creek Ranch airstrip (private) and bridge itself is subject to wilderness access and construction restrictions.
