Site work for a water / sewer project in Roswell, New Mexico. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Provide all labor, equipment, and materials to remove the existing fence and construct approximately 1.2 miles of four-strand barbed wire fence in accordance with the specifications, drawings, maps, and work data sheets. Vehicle access is permitted within 15 feet of each side of the fence. Minimal clearing is required, and any brush or trees that must be removed shall be cut at ground level and placed 10 to 15 feet from the fence line. All equipment must be cleaned of soil and vegetation before arriving on site and between work locations to prevent the spread of noxious or invasive weeds. The contractor shall submit a written work schedule and obtain approval of a safety and fire plan prior to construction. Personal protective equipment shall be used in compliance with OSHA requirements. Work shall be performed Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays, and completed within 30 days of the Notice to Proceed. Contract time may be paused upon request when snow or snowmelt prevents work at the project site.
