OTICE OF INTENT TO ENTER INTO A GUARANTEED MAXIMUM PRICE (GMP) CONTRACT The City of Des Moines (City), pursuant to Iowa Code Chapter 26A (2025), intends to enter into a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) contract for Construction Manager at Risk (CMR) services to provide Pre-construction and Construction services for its proposed City Facility Expansion Phase 2 Improvements project ("project") in the City of Des Moines. The project will be located at the T.M. Franklin Cownie City Administration Building (1200 Locust Street) and 1200 Mulberry parking garage, in Des Moines, Iowa. The City anticipates issuance of a Request for Statements of Qualifications for the project on or after August 31, 2026. The tentative contract award date for the project is January 25, 2027, and tentative construction start date for the project is January 2028. Said dates are subject to change at the discretion of the City
