Project includes phased demolition, additions, and renovations at the Laurel, Gilman, and Le Grand attendance centers for the East Marshall Community School District. Work includes selective interior and exterior demolition; construction of new gymnasium, multipurpose, HUB, and classroom additions; renovation of existing instructional, gymnasium, office, and support spaces; new structural, roofing, wall, floor, ceiling, and finish systems; modifications to corridors, restrooms, mechanical and electrical rooms, elevators, and building connections; and associated site, utility, and architectural improvements. Bonds: Performance Bond required (unspecified amount), Payment Bond required (unspecified amount). Bid Package 01 - Earthwork & Utilities: SWPPP implementation, site demolition, removals required for additions and utility work, excavation, cut/fill, subgrade preparation, building pad preparation, backfill, seeding, storm utility work, underground utility extensions and related site earthwork to support phased building additions and renovations. - Bid Package 02 - Building Demolition: Complete and selective demolition including removal of the Laurel portions of exterior wall, window, corridor wall, ceiling, roof overhang, and select classroom casework; full demolition of the Gilman 1920's and 1980's building portions and selective removal of lobby roof, floor structure, stair and elevator tower components; demolition of the Le Grand 1920's building portion; and related removals necessary for new corridors, additions, renovations, and tieins. Bid Package 03 - Site & Building Concrete: Concrete work including foundations, footings, slabs-ongrade, slab infill at former basement areas, housekeeping pads, stoops, sidewalks, curbs, ramps, equipment pads, miscellaneous exterior flatwork, and cast-in-place concrete associated with new additions, renovations, and site improvements. Bid Package 04 - Pre-Cast Supply: Furnish precast concrete components including gymnasium exterior wall panels, architectural precast panels with integral color and specialty finishes, insulated and non-insulated precast wall panels, precast fire walls, elevator shaft walls, and related embedded items for the Laurel, Gilman, and Le Grand additions. Bid Package 05 - Steel Supply: Furnish structural steel including columns, beams, joists, joist girders, trusses, steel bypass framing, bolted composite steel joist floor framing, girts, lintels, support steel, roof framing, and miscellaneous structural steel required for the new additions and renovation tieins. Bid Package 06 - Steel and Precast Erection: Erect structural steel and precast components including steel framing, joists, trusses, metal deck support framing, precast wall panels, fire walls, elevator shaft walls, bracing, connections, temporary bracing, grout, and field coordination required to complete the building structures. Bid Package 07 - Masonry: CMU wall construction, brick veneer, masonry restoration, masonry reinforcing, flashing, lintels as applicable, and related masonry accessories for the Gilman multipurpose addition and other new construction locations utilizing masonry wall systems and infills. Bid Package 08 - General Trades: Temporary walls and infills, selective interior demolition, rough carpentry, casework furnish and install, doors/frames/hardware furnish and install, accessories furnish and install , window treatments furnish and install , athletic equipment furnish and install, specialties, air barrier, moisture barrier, liquid flashing, blocking and backing, parapet blocking, and miscellaneous general trades work required for the additions and renovations. Bid Package 09 - Metal Panels & Roofing: Furnish and install metal wall panels, girts associated with panel systems, roofing assemblies, insulation, roof deck-related scope as assigned, sheet metal trim, flashing, roof tie-ins, and roofing work required at new additions and modified existing roof areas. Bid Package 10 - Glazing: Furnish and install exterior glazing systems, storefronts, windows, borrowed lites as applicable, translucent panel systems at renovated gymnasium areas, and related glazing accessories required for the additions and renovations. Bid Package 11 - Gypsum Systems, Ceilings, Paint & Joint Sealants: Metal stud framing, gypsum board assemblies, shaft wall assemblies, mineral fiber insulation, spray foam insulation, acoustical ceilings, gypsum board ceilings, soffits, interior framing, wall padding backing as applicable, interior and exterior painting, coatings, surface preparation caulking, joint sealants, firestopping sealants as applicable, and related finish work for new and renovated spaces throughout the project. Bid Package 12 - Flooring & Tile: Furnish and install walk-off carpet, carpet, LVT, rubber flooring, gym flooring system as selected, restroom and wall tile, stair treads, floor preparation, transitions, and related finish flooring work for the additions and renovated areas. Bid Package 13 - Elevator: Provide elevator systems, controls, cab finishes, hoistway components as required, and coordination for new elevator installations serving the building additions. Bid Package 14 - Limited Use & Wheelchair Lift: Provide lift systems, controls, finishes, ramp and gate components as required, and coordination for installations serving the building additions and renovations. Bid Package 15 - Fire Suppression : Provide fire suppression systems including sprinkler piping, heads, valves, fire department connections, modifications to existing systems, extensions required for phased demolition, additions, and renovations, firestopping sealants at penetrations associated with fire suppression work, and related coordination. Bid Package 16 - Mechanical and Plumbing: Building disconnects for demolition, HVAC demolition and modifications, new mechanical rooms, PTAC units, rooftop unit support coordination, ductwork, piping, equipment, controls coordination, exhaust, ventilation, firestopping sealants at penetrations associated with mechanical and plumbing work, and associated mechanical systems for new and renovated spaces. Bid Package 17 - Electrical : Building disconnects for demolition, electrical demolition and modifications, new electrical rooms, power distribution, lighting, controls, fire alarm coordination, low-voltage raceway infrastructure, device rough- in, firestopping sealants at penetrations associated with electrical work, and associated electrical systems for the new additions and renovated existing spaces.
