This state-funded project includes all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to replace a portion of the existing roof at the William Jack Hernandez Sport Fish Hatchery in Anchorage, Alaska. Work includes removal of existing roofing materials and related mechanical and electrical work. The contract includes one (1) additive alternate for installation of heat trace at the roof drains within the Basic Bid work area. The Engineers Estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. THE PROJECT IS A RE-ROOF OVERLAY OF AN EXISTING EPDM IRMA/PMA BALLASTED ROOF ASSEMBLY. WORK TO INCLUDE REMOVAL OF THE EXISTING IRMA/PMA BALLAST PAVERS AND INSULATION TO EXPOSE THE EXISTING MEMBRANE. THE WORK WILL INCLUDE MECHANICALLY FASTENING INSULATION TO THE EXISTING STRUCTURE, THROUGH THE EXISTING EPDM INTO THE METAL PAN DECK BELOW. INSULATION LAYERS, CRICKET INSULATION, COVER BOARD AND MEMBRANE INSULATION TO BE FULLY ADHERED OVER THE LAYER OF MECHANICALLY ATTACHED INSULATION. MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL ITEMS ON THE ROOF AND ROOF PARAPETS WILL NEED TO BE REMOVED OR LOOSENED TO PERFORM THE WORK AND REINSTALLED. ROOF HEAT TRACE TO BE ADDED AT ROOF DRAIN AND OVERFLOW DRAINS
