Syracuse University Energy Campus is a major redevelopment and expansion of Syracuse University's energy infrastructure in Syracuse, New York. The project includes a new cogeneration plant, chiller plant, storage facility, and offices, while repurposing the obsolete 1926 Steam Station into academic and community space with classrooms, laboratories, offices, community rooms, a teaching kitchen, green market, rooftop greenhouses, and an elevated public education loop. The project is part of the university's Climate Action Plan and is being designed by ROGERS PARTNERS Architects+Urban Designers.
