Question Deadline 08/28/2026 at 5:00 PM CT All questions regarding this RFP must be in writing and sent by email to Purchasing Agent Kelli Davis at kdavis@greggcounty.texas.gov Online Portal Work shall include, but is not limited to: Remove loose gravel, dirt, vegetation, and debris from the existing roof and properly clean and prepare the existing roof surface to receive the new overlay system. Remove only those portions of the existing roofing system necessary for proper preparation, repairs, flashing, transitions, penetrations, or installation of the new roof overlay system. Furnish and install the specified cover board over the existing roof system. Cover board type, thickness, and attachment shall be compatible with the existing roof and approved as part of the roofing manufacturer's warranted assembly. Furnish and install a new 60-mil reinforced PVC roofing membrane over the prepared existing roof and cover board in accordance with manufacturer requirements. Provide and install Exterior Grade Plywood on the back side of parapet walls, where required, to provide a suitable substrate for roof-to-wall transitions. Extend and properly terminate the PVC membrane up the back side of parapet walls in accordance with manufacturer-approved details. Remove and replace existing parapet wall caps/coping as required for proper installation of the overlay system . Furnish and install new flashing at existing roof curbs, roof penetrations, roof-to-wall transitions, and other locations necessary to provide a complete watertight roofing system. Remove and replace existing pitch pans with manufacturer-approved penetration flashing assemblies or penetration pockets appropriate for the application. Furnish and install new drip edge and other required perimeter metal . Color shall be a standard manufacturer's color approved by the County prior to fabrication or installation. Furnish and install all sealants, fasteners, termination bars, adhesives, flashing, accessories, and miscellaneous components required for a complete roof overlay system.
