Replacement of water heaters at the Snake River Correctional Institution Complex One. The following range is a project estimate for bonding purposes: 1,400,000-1,700,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Question Deadline 09/17/2026 at 2:00 PM MT Any Bidder that finds discrepancies in, or omissions from any provision of the ITB, Plans, Specifications, or Contract Documents, or has doubt as to the meaning, shall make a request for clarification in writing, to the contact point listed in Section C.3.2.1. To be considered, the request for clarification must be received by DOC The scope of work for this project is to replace the 6 existing 250 gallon 400,000 btu gas fired water heaters with 6 new 250 gallon 800,000 btu gas fired water heaters for SRCI Complex 1 housing units A, B, and C. These water heaters need to have a horizontal mounted NEMA rated control enclosure (reference detail SB-92747-1) while meeting the specs of detail SB91833-1. The 18 existing thermostatic mixing valves are to be replaced with new digital mixing vales. Water heaters and tempering valve are to have BACnet capabilities and programmed into SRCI's Carrier I-Vue building automation system. Each water heater will have a dedicated circuit and new heat trace on all roof top cold water and hot water lines. The panels servicing these water heaters are to be replaced with new service panels as well. During demo, one existing water heater can provide sufficient hot water to the housing unit. Following Exhibit 7.15 ( E) allows the institution to monitor hot water usage. For shutdowns lasting longer than 2 hours, contractor provides temporary hot water heater which will give the ability to replace both water heaters on each housing unit, minimizing crane picks and factory rep start up.
