Site work for a municipal facility in Lac La Biche, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.

The Bidder shall supply all labour, equipment, materials, supervision, professional services, and resources necessary to complete the Work. Lac La Biche County (the "County") is issuing a Request for Quotation ("RFQ") to eligible Bidders for a Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) of the County Maintenance Yard in the Hamlet of Lac La Biche, Alberta (the "Work"). The Work is located at the County's Maintenance Yard at 50 Nipewon Road, with map in Diagram A and monitoring well locations specified within the RFQ. Review available background information, including previous environmental reports, groundwater monitoring reports, site plans, historical site use information, monitoring well records, analytical data, and correspondence from Alberta Environment and Protected Areas. Prepare a field investigation plan identifying proposed borehole locations, monitoring well locations, sampling depths, analytical parameters, quality assurance / quality control procedures, utility locate requirements, and health and safety requirements. Complete all required utility locates, ground disturbance planning, site access coordination, and field safety documentation before commencing work. Advance boreholes, install monitoring wells where required, and collect soil and groundwater samples sufficient to assess and delineate salinity-related impacts associated with the historical on-site salt/sand mixing and storage area . Install new groundwater monitoring wells, where required, to assess and delineate groundwater contamination laterally and vertically to the current applicable Alberta Tier 1 or Tier 2 Soil and Groundwater Remediation Guidelines. Assess existing monitoring wells for condition and suitability, and incorporate existing wells into the investigation where appropriate. Collect groundwater elevations, determine groundwater flow direction, and complete groundwater sampling from existing and newly installed monitoring wells. Complete an updated hydraulic conductivity assessment at monitoring well MW10-2, or an alternate representative location if MW10-2 is unsuitable, and assess whether a mandatory Tier 2 guideline adjustment is required.
