Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a civil project in Athens, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a development; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Demolition of brick and steel structures, regrading for drainage, topsoil spreading, seeding, mulching, culvert replacement, removal of concrete debris, dam stabilization with compacted fill, and reconstruction of spillways. The project includes the Powerhouse Complex and the Dam and Impoundment. The Powerhouse Complex is on the west side of Mine Road and includes multiple structures and remnants of structures that supported historical mining and power generation activities. The brick and steel structures will be demolished, and footings and concrete floor will remain in place. The work will include salvaging the following items: clay bricks, the top of the collapsed chimney, the base of the standing chimney, the four concrete legs of the elevated concrete water tank, and the four concrete legs of the elevated coal hopper. The clay bricks will be stockpiled for use by the property owner. The area will be regraded for positive drainage, have six inches of topsoil spread across it, and will be seeded and mulched. The culvert under the road that conveys runoff from the area into Pilcher Run will be replaced and concrete debris in the Pilcher Run will be removed. The top of the collapsed smokestack will be relocated to the Canaanville Arts Center adjacent to the project along Mine Road at the owner's request.
