Fenestration replacement project. The project includes the replacement of exterior windows and aluminum storefront systems and entry doors along with related interior and exterior work. Without force and effect on requirements of the contract documents, the descriptive of the work of the contract can be summarized as follows: All staging, scaffolding, and erection necessary to complete specified work contractor shall properly barricade staging work areas and shall protect building materials and systems which are to remain from damage at all times. Contractor shall provide a safety plan, to be approved by owner and ahj prior to work start up. Full compliance with all applicable safety requirements including federal OSHA, state, and local requirements. Permits: contractor shall obtain permits and permissions required by concerned authorities prior to work. The cost of permits and permissions shall be included in their bid. Contractor to contact the authority having jurisdiction for required inspections. Contractor to provide supervision and coordination of the work with the consultant Submittals andir shop drawings are required for all products and systems used in the construction of this project. Shop drawings for window, storefront, and entry door assemblies shall be based on conditions field verified by the contractor including, but not limited to: A. Locations of existing walls, partitions, and columns which interface with vertical mullions and joints in window and storefront assemblies; B. Locations of existing power sources at entry doors: locations of actuator buttons and mag locks at entry doors Contractor's operations shall at all times be conducted to protect contents and persons within the building and to prevent spread of materials or debris into the interior of the buildings. Work site shall be maintained in a neat and orderly manner at all times. Work and staging areas are to be contained with a maintainable barricade Pedestrian protection and pedestrian traffic flows are to be maintained throughout the project and are the responsibility of the contractor This is an in-use facility, and the building will be occupied throughout the construction project. Contractor shall work within the confines of the owner's schedule and functional requirements. Contractor shall assume that the work will be execut will be executed in multiple consecutive phases.
