Renovation of a library in Chesapeake, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 6,250-square-foot library.
The project consists of renovations and improvements to the existing Briggs Lawrence County Public Library - Chesapeake Branch. The Base Bid work generally includes: Removal of the existing roof and roof structure. Construction of a new pitched roof structure. Installation of a new architectural asphalt shingle roofing system. New fascia, soffit, gutters, downspouts, roof-edge trim, flashings, and associated exterior roof components. Roof/ceiling insulation. Interior ceiling replacement. New LED lighting and associated electrical work. HVAC work required as part of the Base Bid and coordination with the roof, ceiling, and lighting construction. Interior wall repairs and painting. New flooring. Basement support post work. Exterior restoration. Other related work required to provide a complete, functional, and finished Base Bid project. Question Deadline 09/04/2026 Every request for such interpretation shall be in writing via email to Jeremy Clay., Associate Executive Director of LEDC at jeremy@ledcorp.org. To be given consideration, request for such interpretation must be received at least five (5) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids.
