Question Deadline 09/01/2026 at 10:00 AM CT Questions regarding this RFP shall be submitted in writing prior to the stated deadline. Responses and any modifications to this solicitation will be issued through written addenda. The selected contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to complete the project, including but not limited to: Selective Demolition Remove existing damaged siding, trim, and exterior finishes as required. Demolish materials down to the existing sheathing where necessary. Dispose of all demolition debris in accordance with applicable regulations. Structural Remediation Inspect all exposed framing and structural components. Repair or replace deteriorated wood framing, rusted structural steel, damaged sheathing, and compromised masonry as required. Moisture Management Install a continuous weather-resistant barrier (WRB) and vapor barrier where specified. Ensure all flashing and waterproofing systems are properly integrated. Exterior Facade Installation Install new exterior finishes. Acceptable materials may include: Fiber cement siding Composite exterior panels Masonry restoration and repair Other approved facade systems Final material selections will be coordinated with the city. Trim, Sealants, and Finishing Install all required trim components. Caulk and seal all joints, penetrations, windows, doors, and transition points to provide a weather-tight envelope. Site Protection and Cleanup Maintain a clean and safe job site throughout construction. o Remove debris daily. o Restore all disturbed areas upon project completion.
