Renovation of a water / sewer project in Corning, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

Replacement of two (2) existing digester boilers with new cast-iron dual fuel boilers (digester gas and natural gas), replacement of gas safety equipment and piping, new gas conditioning equipment for moisture removal from the digester gas, and ancillary equipment. Question Deadline 09/22/2026 at 5:00 PM ET Only written Requests For Information (RFI) will be accepted. RFI's will be accepted at the office of the Engineer to the attention of Domenic Emilio via email: DEmilio@CPLteam.com. If necessary, an Addendum will be issued by 5:00 p.m. (Local Time) on Friday, September 25, 2026 from the office of the Engineer. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified bank check or bid bond from a domestic carrier licensed to do business in the State of New York in the amount of not less than five (5%) of the amount of the bid submitted. Security for Faithful Performance: The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds written by firms licensed to do business in New York State, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amounts in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Documents. All bids shall be binding for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date. The City of Corning reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities therein.
