Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Milton Station, Prince Edward Island. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
Water line extension and associated civil works. DESCRIPTION OF WORK .1 The project is located in on Miles Boulter Drive, Milton Station, PEI just north of the City of Charlottetown City Limits. The work generally includes, but is not limited to the construction of a new water line along Miles Boulter Drive connecting the PEI Firefighters Association Training Grounds to the City of Charlottetown Potable Watermain on Sleepy Hollow Road. The project also includes site grading and site servicing (electric and propane) for the new simulator (to be installed by others). The work generally includes 560m of 200mm watermain complete with valves, fittings, hydrants and servicing to the Fire School. The work also includes providing electrical and communication conduits placed between the existing Fire School Building and the proposed simulator, trenching for the installation of propane lines and associated electrical site grading for the simulator, upgrades to site lighting and any reinstatement required due to the proposed works.
