Renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility in Slave Lake, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility.

Work of this Contract comprises the following: Temporary Measures: (a) Existing wall lateral stabilization at Bay 5 using engineered scaffolding. (b) Aircraft-cable lateral restraint at Bays 11 and 12. (c) Bay 6 truss shoring between Gridlines 15 and 16 (LVL beam and WC1 columns). See structural drawing for details. (d) Temporary weather protection over exposed roof areas. (e) Temporary site demarcation, fencing, signage, and OHS exclusion-zone management. Selective Demolition and Abatement: (a) Selective demolition and debris clearing of the collapsed roof structure in Bay 5 and associated bays. (b) Asbestos abatement as required. Permanent Reconstruction: (a) Bay 5 North Wall Replacement. (b) Supply and installation of new shop-fabricated roof trusses in Bays 5, 6, and 12, including double trusses on each side of the parapet. Temporary shoring as needed in adjacent Bay 4 to be coordinated with for replacement of sheathing nailers along fire wall. (c) Reinforcement of existing trusses adjacent to the firewall for the revised snow loading shown on Drawing S050. (d) Supply and installation of new roof sheathing, blocking, and bracing. (e) Reconstruction of the roofing assembly: insulation, air and vapour barrier, two-ply SBS membrane, sheet metal flashing, and sealants. (f) Firestopping of penetrations and joints through fire-rated assemblies, including the masonry firewall, and reinstatement of the fire-resistance rating and firewall continuity where affected by the Work. (g) Permanent mechanical reroute of natural gas and domestic water. (h) Permanent overhead electrical, Phase 1 and electrical scope as defined in the drawing.
