Removal and recycling of existing carpets and pads, floor surface preparation, and installation of Owner-furnished carpet using direct glue-down method, including transition strips, primers, and temporary protection. Question Deadline 09/16/2026 at 5:00 PM ET procurement@massconvention.com The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and supervision for the carpet replacement at the Thomas Michael Menino Convention and Exhibition Center (MCEC) Ballroom. The scope requires the removal and recycling of existing carpets and pads down to the substrate. The Contractor must grind or fill floors to eliminate adhesive residue and ensure a level surface. The Contractor shall install Owner-furnished carpet and adhesives using the direct glue-down method. Responsibilities include furnishing transition strips, primers, and necessary accessories. This contract covers all temporary protection, cleanup, and miscellaneous costs. Any subsequent additional areas requested by the Owner shall be performed under stipulated unit prices.
