Asbestos abatement for a municipal facility in Pecos, Texas. Completed plans call for asbestos abatement for a 8,150-square-foot municipal facility.
Asbestos removal from the facility located at 700 W. Daggett St. Any questions or additional information required by interested vendors must be emailed to bidquestions@reevescounty.org before Tuesday, October 6, 2026. Bid number and title must be on the "Subject Line" of the email. Attempts to circumvent this requirement may result in rejection of the bid as non-compliant. Description of the Work 1.1 The work specified herein shall be the removal of the following asbestos-containing materials from the Reeves County Annex located at 7800 W. Daggett St., Pecos, Texas. The work shall be accomplished by a licensed asbestos abatement contractor employing licensed asbestos abatement supervisors and workers: o o Asbestos containing plaster ceiling ( (C01) approx. 500 square feet). Asbestos containing floor tile with black mastic ( (F01, F03, F04, F05, F06 & F07) approx. 6,710 square feet). 2.0 Asbestos containing boiler insulation ( (101) approx. 200 square feet). o Asbestos containing pipe insulation ( (102) approx. 1,000 square feet). o Asbestos containing duct insulation ( (103) approx. 400 square feet). o Asbestos containing Transite wall panels ( (W03) approx . 320 square feet). Asbestos containing window caulk ( (E01) approx. 10 square feet). o Asbestos containing window glazing ( (E02) approx. 10 square feet).
