Renovation of a mixed-use development in West Haven, Connecticut. Working plans call for the renovation of a medical facility; and military facility.
Replace condensate pumps and associated piping in Building 1 Mechanical Room SG182 and Building 2 Mechanical Room G139. Work includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, cleanup, disposal, and incidental services necessary to remove existing condensate pump skids, install new condensate pump skids, modify and reconnect condensate return piping, provide electrical service upgrades, controls integration, and building automation system (BAS) tie-ins. Services include confined space entry operations, lockout/tagout coordination, replacement of deteriorated condensate piping, valves, and related components, installation of new insulation, flow indicators, labels, tags, startup and acceptance testing, and operations and maintenance training for VA personnel. The contractor shall coordinate steam outages, protect existing equipment, provide required submittals and material certifications, furnish waste disposal documentation, and provide a minimum two-year warranty on all parts, materials, and labor.
