In lieu of Plans, this section shall serve as the scope of work required for the construction of the White County Local Striping project. New paint pavement markings shall be installed on the following road segments in White County: County Road 300 East - from US 24 to State Road 18 - County Road 400 South - from County Road 300 East to Freeman Road Chalmers Road - from County Road 50 East to Oakdale Road County Road 300 West - from County Road 350 South to State Road 18 Each roadway segment shall have white edge line markings installed on both outside edges of the road. Each roadway segment shall have yellow center line markings installed. The centerline marking pattern (double solid, single dashed, or a combination of single solid and single dashed) shall match the existing condition on each roadway segment. White County is performing a chip and seal operation of each roadway segment. Therefore, the existing pavement markings may no longer be visible by the time the Local Striping Project begins. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to determine the existing centerline marking pattern, using publicly available aerial and street view imagery Bonds: 5% Bid Bond, Certified Check required, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond.
