Leading Idaho Local Bridge Program project for Benewah County, Proposal Number 30005-115. Existing Bridge Key Number 30005 is in Benewah County and carries Old Mills Road over Hangman Creek. The bridge is owned and maintained by Benewah County and is located approximately 12.9 miles south of Plummer, ID. This proposal is for the contractor to remove the single-span steel girder bridge and abutments and replace with a single-span steel girder bridge with concrete deck on concrete abutments supported on micro-piles. The bridge and roadway will be closed during construction and a detour will need to be provided. Additional work includes roadway approach construction and permitted river alterations including placing riprap.
