The City of University Place solicits interest from Consulting firms with expertise in material testing services for the Construction phase of the 70th Avenue Improvements Phase 2 and 40th Street Project. Contract type will be negotiated hourly rate purchased service agreement. We expect the consultant to be available for material testing during that work window. Both projects will construct curb, gutter, sidewalk, landscaped buffer, bike lane, street lighting, flashing pedestrian crossing beacons, contrasting pavement marking, and pedestrian/bicycle amenities. Pedestrian accessibility ramps and landings will be constructed at all intersections to conform to the current WSDOT design standards. The work to be performed by the CONSULTANT consists of providing on call material testing for subgrade, concrete and asphalt.
