Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in University Place, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work to be performed under this contract includes furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools and guarantees thereof to: Construct curb, gutter, sidewalk, landscaped buffer, bike lane, street lighting, flashing pedestrian crossing beacons, contrasting pavement marking, and pedestrian/bicycle amenities. Pedestrian accessibility ramps and landings will be constructed at all intersections to conform to the current WSDOT design standards on 40th Street West from Drexler Drive to 67th Avenue West. The City of University Place expressly reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities or informalities and to further make award of the Project to the lowest responsive responsible bidder as it best serves the interest of the City. No bidder may withdraw his proposal after the hours set for the opening thereof, or before award of contract, unless said award is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days. FSBE goal has been established for this contract at 12% and is not a condition of award
