The purpose of this Quick Quote is to obtain a fixed-price bid to resurface and stabilize designated areas of the High Bridge Station complex at High Bridge Trail State Park in Rice, VA, using crushed stone, in accordance with the specifications and scope of work outlined in the attachments. Scope of Work: 1. Perform all necessary site preparation work, including: Identification and rectification of problem subsoil conditions Elimination and removal of problem weeds and vegetation immediately inside the project areas. Installation of erosion and sediment control measures. Marking of all utilities in the project areas. 2. Resurface two (2) overflow parking lots with two (2) inches of new VDOT 21A Lot # 1 : approximately 20,000 sq. ft. , requires approximately 175 tons of new material. Lot #2: approximately 14,000 sq. ft., requires approximately 122 tons of new material. Both lots may be tailgate ("short chain") spread. 3. Resurface Camp Paradise Trail with new VDOT 21A Trail Width: 6 feet. Requires approximately 100 tons of new material. Requires transport of aggregate material to trail head 0.2 miles from main parking lot, and along trail corridor. All equipment widths are restricted to the 6-foot trail corridor width Small Business Set-Aside for Award Priority Requires even distribution of aggregate material to two (2) inch depth along entire trail corridor. 4. Resurface Fire Access Trail with two (2) inches of new VDOT 21A Approximately 50,000 sq. ft. , requires approximately 436 tons of new material. Fire Access Trail may be tailgate ("short chain") spread. 5. Armor drainage ditches with new VDOT Class I riprap Approximately 18,000 sq. ft. of ditch area, requires approximately 154 tons of riprap.
