Description

Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in North Brunswick, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; and playground / park / athletic field.

The Township of North Brunswick is soliciting bids to construct a new Field House in Sabella Park. Construction includes a retaining wall, concession stand, storage area, and restroom facilities. All bids must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond drawn to the order of the Township for not less than ten (10%) percent of the amount of the bid, but not in excess of Twenty Thousand ($20,000) Dollars. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A: 11-22, the successful contractor shall furnish the Township with a 100% (Contract amount) Performance Bond and 100% (Contract amount) Labor and Material Payment Bond issued by the Contractor's insurance carrier / surety, for the purpose of guaranteeing the faithful fulfillment of the Agreement. This bond shall meet the requirements of N.J.S.A. 2A: 44-143 through 147, entitled "Bonds of Contractors on Public Works and Improvements." The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2, and to waive any informalities in the best interest of the Township.
