The project site currently contains a vacant 166,400-square-foot building constructed in 1983. A comprehensive space planning evaluation was recently completed to determine the most effective utilization of the existing facility. Based on the results of this assessment, the Owner determined that demolition of the existing building and redevelopment of the site with a new Administration Building represents the most effective long-term solution to meet current and future operational needs. The proposed project consists of the design and construction of a new approximately 100,000-square-foot Administration Building with attached or detached parking structure utilizing the collaborative CMAR delivery process. The facility will accommodate boardrooms, conference rooms, the Water Resources Department, and related support functions and work groups. The new building is intended to provide a modern, efficient, and collaborative work environment that supports the organization's mission and operational requirements. The building will include Class A office space with high-quality finishes and amenities.
