The scope of work is a comprehensive evaluation for replacement of the single span bridge which conveys traffic of US 89 over the Yellowstone River in Gardiner, Montana. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the most cost-effective means to replace the bridge and support local commerce and tourism by moving traffic efficiently during the replacement effort. The focus of the study is to investigate the methods, viability, preliminary details, and costs for replacement of the structure. Complex analysis on construction options, maintenance of traffic, and innovative and/or accelerated construction solutions will be critical components. The bridge is located in Gardiner, Park County, T9S, R8E, Section 23 on N-11 / US 89 at about RP 0.16.
