All enquiries or requests for clarification from Bidders to be made in writing and submitted to the Consultant not less than three (3) business days before the date set for receipt of Bids. Reply will be in form of an addendum, no later than two (2) working days before the date set for receipt of Bids. Scope of Work: 1. Excavate to the design subgrade elevation 2. Compact and proof roll the subgrade and replace any soft areas 3. Place and compact the Select Borrow subbase to a minimum thickness of 300 mm. 4. Place and compact Class A granular base gravels to a minimum thickness of 200 mm. Ensure proper drainage is implemented. 5. Compact and proof roll the surface 6. Pave a 60 mm lift of Type A and a 40mm lift of Type B hot-mix asphalt 7. Paint lines using non-slip silica sand-based paint. 8. Contractor to coordinate the schedule of work with the Owner and the Facility Operations Personnel. 9. Install a culvert as indicated in the attached drawing. 10. Reinstate to the original condition all areas affected by construction work.
