2027 to 2029 Road Rehabilitation Program. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals is underway underway inviting qualified engineering consultants (Proponents) to submit a proposal for the design, tendering, contract administration and construction services to support the project. The successful Proponent will enter into an initial one-year agreement for the 2027 program. Subject to satisfactory performance, at the discretion of the RMOW the agreement may be extended for up to two additional one-year terms to complete the 2028 and 2029 programs. The RMOW has identified the following as the scope of work for this project: o Provide all engineering, design, tendering, contract administration, and construction support services required to deliver the RMOW's three-year (2027-2029) Road Rehabilitation Program. o Review the available background information, including the 2025 Pavement Management Plan, pavement condition data, and other data provided by the RMOW. o Validate the rehabilitation projects and treatment strategies identified in the 2025 Pavement Management Plan through investigations and assessment. o Prepare a Road and Valley Trail Rehabilitation Recommendation Report that includes rehabilitation limits, treatment recommendations, quantities, and cost estimates for the proposed rehabilitation works o Provide recommendations to improve program delivery, maximize cost efficiency, minimize impacts to residents and interested parties, and optimize construction staging and scheduling. *Tender package for year one may be issued in early 2027.
