Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Sunapee, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for the construction of a water / sewer project.
The Town of Sunapee is requesting bids from qualified contractors for the replacement of the Georges Mills Boat Launch on Cooper Street in Sunapee, NH. The project includes removal of the existing boat launch and retaining wall; installation of the proposed boat launch, retaining wall, docking structures and ramps; guardrail; crushed stone; bituminous pavement; wood decking; signs and pavement markings; landscaping; erosion prevention and sediment control; and all associated work as outlined in the bid plans. The successful contractor will be required to substantially complete the work within 60 calendar days of the Notice to Proceed, with final completion within 90 days, as provided in the bidding documents. Work within the lakebed must comply with the applicable permit requirements and occur between October 15 and May 31. The boat launch will be closed for the duration of construction, while Cooper Street shall remain open at all times.
