The Project includes the following Work: This project consists of site grading and utility and roadway construction as part of an expansion of an existing business park. Work for this project includes: 1. Clearing and grubbing. 2. Site grading of approximately 31.5 acres for commercial/industrial lots including future roadways. 3. Installation of approximately 2,205 lineal feet of PVC sanitary sewer main of various sizes between 8-inch and 15-inch including all associated structures, fittings, appurtenances, and laterals. 4. Installation of approximately 1,850 lineal feet of ductile iron water main (8- inch and 12-inch) including all associated fittings, appurtenances, and services. 5. Installation of approximately 2,750 lineal feet of RCP storm sewer pipe including all associated structures and appurtenances. 6. Construction of approximately 2,800 lineal feet of roadway including grading, base aggregate, concrete curb and gutter, and asphaltic concrete pavement. 7. Temporary erosion control , traffic control , turf restoration, and all other associated incidental removals, connections, rock excavation, and other work associated with the proposed project. 8. Bid Alternate A is a material replacement of PVC C900 water main instead of base bid ductile iron water main. 9. Bid Alternate B is a material replacement of HDPE storm sewer instead of base bid RCP storm sewer for pipes 12- inches through 18- inches in diameter. 10. Bid Alternate C is a material replacement of HDPE storm sewer instead of base bid RCP storm sewer for pipes larger than 18- inches in diameter with the exception of outfall pipes. Owner reserves the right to retain RCP material for some of the pipes if Bid Alternate C is accepted (such as pipes within the roadway lanes). Bonds: 5% Bid Bond, Certified Check required.
