Triennial testing of electrical distribution equipment in accordance with ANSI/NETA MTS, including complete testing of medium-voltage oil-cooled switches, liquid-filled and air-cooled transformers, low- and medium-voltage circuit breakers rated 225A (3-pole) and above, and feeder cables. Work includes Very Low Frequency (VLF) testing of medium-voltage cables, torqueing and meggering of electrical connections, functional testing and exercising of breakers, standard and infrared photography of electrical equipment, and site visits to all medium-voltage vaults. Services also include an overcurrent protective device coordination study with updated single-line diagrams and an arc flash hazard analysis with new labels for the entire campus. Testing activities are to be performed during off-hours, including evenings and weekends, while photography is to be conducted during normal business hours. A final report is required within seven days of completion and must include photographs, testing results, studies in PDF and CAD format, and cost estimates for identified deficiencies and full medium-voltage cable replacement.
