Demolition, site work, new construction and renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Manassas Park, Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field.
The project involves removal and disposal/recycling of the current steel pavilion located in Costello Park, rehabilitation and refinishing of the existing concrete slab, and replacement of the old shelter with a new commercial grade steel shelter. The City is considering several options for the replacement shelter, which include: 1. Configuration A - One, approx. 30' x 80' gable style shelter, centered on existing slab 2. Configuration B - Two, approx. 30' x 40' gable style shelters, one on each opposing end of slab - - 3. Configuration C - One, approx. 30' x 100' gable style shelter, centered on existing slab - This is the approximate size of the existing shelter.
