Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Smithville, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; road / highway; and road / highway.
This project will consist of construction of a single lane roundabout at the intersection of Bridge Street, 1st Street, and Hilltop Street, full depth asphalt and concrete road construction, mill & overlay, pedestrian facilities, sidewalk curb ramps, and drainage/storm sewer improvements. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, offers, or proposals submitted, or to advertise for new bids with the MoDOTs concurrence. The City reserves the right to defer the acceptance of any proposal and the execution of a contract for a period not exceeding one hundred twenty (120) days after the date of opening of the bids. The successful bidder to whom the contract has been awarded shall sign the contract and performance bond and other required certificates in triplicate and return the signed documents within fifteen (15) days after the date of their receipt.
