Somerset Children & Youth Services ( CYS ) is proposing improvements to visiting areas and a bathroom located in their office at the Somerset County Office Complex . Work will include expanding an existing bathroom into an adjacent storage area to install a shower and bath tub . The project will be bid by trade . Interested contractors are permitted to bid on more than one trade package . The project scope of work includes renovations to a bathroom and visiting rooms located in the CYS office. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Somerset County Board of Commissioners, or negotiable U.S. Government Bond (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable Surety, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed 90 days from the date of opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the Contract. Question Deadline 10/09/2026 Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing to the Owner with a copy to the Engineer ; fax , email or US mail deliveries are all acceptable ( email requests are preferred ) . Any inquiry received seven ( 3 ) or more days prior to the date fixed for opening of Bids will be given consideration .
