Renovation of a municipal facility in Charleston, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The project consists of: Base Bid: Renovate approximately 11,500 square feet of office space for a new unit office. Work includes new exterior and interior finishes, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, landscaping, site concrete, and drainage. Alternate Bid #1: Provide Hot Mix Asphalt in lieu of PC Concrete for parking lot paving. Award of a contract is anticipated to occur at the October, 2026 meeting of the Board of Education. Begin construction on Monday November 2, 2026. The Work shall be Substantially Complete on or before Friday April 30, 2027. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids or any part thereof, to waive any informality in bidding, and to accept bids deemed most favorable to the owner.
