Initiating Organization: Engineering District 9-0 Agreement Type: Project Specific 100% State Funded: No Services Requested: Design and Misc Services Selection Process: Modified Part 1 Location Description State Route/Section Bedford County 4010/02B Part Name: SR 4010 over Shobers Run- PE Project Description: Part 1 will consist of preliminary engineering and environmental services for the bridge replacement carrying SR 4010 (Pitt Street) over Shobers Run in Bedford Township, Bedford County (BMS# 05-4010-0080-1535). In addition to the bridge replacement work, scope of this project is to also study a road diet of the EB lanes and propose a new lane configuration. Services for this part will include but are not limited to the following: Environmental Studies: The project team will be responsible for the preparation of the CEE and all investigations and public involvement required to obtain the necessary National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) approval. Preliminary Engineering Services: Field Surveys, Hydrologic and Hydraulic Study, Waterway Permits, Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plan, Type, Size, and Location Study; Preliminary Geotechnical Engineering Report; Preliminary Right of Way Plans, Utility Investigation, Preliminary Drainage Design, Safety Review/ Audit; Preliminary Traffic Control Plan, Preliminary Pavement Design, Typical Sections; Design Field View, Public Involvement, Project Scheduling and Project Management and Coordination. Anticipated NTP is 05/01/2027. Anticipated NTP: 5/1/2027 Project Time: Day and Night time Part 2 Location Description State Route/Section Bedford County 4010/02B Part Name: SR 4010 over Shobers Run- FD Project Description: Part 2 will consist of final design engineering services for the bridge replacement carrying SR 4010 (Pitt Street) over Shobers Run in Bedford Township, Bedford County (BMS# 05-4010-0080-1535). In addition to the bridge replacement work, scope of this project is to also study a road diet of the EB lanes and propose a new lane configuration. Required Final Design services may include, but are not limited to the following: Field Survey, Utility Coordination, Final Right-of-Way Plans, Final Geotechnical Report, Final Roadway Design, Plans, Specifications, and Estimate Submission, Foundation Design, Final Structure Design, Project Scheduling, Project Management and Coordination.
