Site work and paving for a road / highway in Bedford, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Sealed proposals are requested for the following work: 1,054 tons Superpave scratch and leveling course, 9.5mm, in place; 1,222 tons Superpave wearing course, 9.5mm, in place; 882 square yards base repairs, in place; 3,150 linear feet removal of existing bituminous curb; 58 square yards milling of bituminous pavement; 589 tons Superpave wearing course, 19.0mm, in place; 167 tons aggregate shoulder, in place (DSA); 228 tons aggregate shoulder, in place (2RC); and 90 tons driveway adjustment/rolled reveal. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act applies if the bid exceeds $100,000. Liquidated damages of $975 per calendar day apply. Proposals must use forms furnished by the Municipality. Bids for third class cities must include a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid amount, payable to the municipality. For other municipal types, this is at the municipality's discretion. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond or certified check for 100% of the contract value within 20 days of award. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
