Insurance Claim No. 4A2607MNVB00001 Grambling State University reserves the right to award items separately, grouped or on an all or none basis and to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities. Grambling State University is requesting bids from qualified contractors to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, disposal , and other services necessary to complete wind damage repairs at the Grambling Assembly Center, 200 Facilities/Stadium, Grambling, Louisiana 71245. The work shall include, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Roof Repairs Remove and replace approximately 4.08 squares of modified bitumen roofing, hot mopped, covering approximately 407.92 square feet. Provide crane and operator services as needed for delivery of materials to the roof. Complete all work necessary to provide a properly sealed and weather-tight roof system. 4 Existing Hardwood Court Restoration Sand and seal approximately 17,282.67 square feet of existing wood flooring. Provide dustless floor sanding. Apply the required additional finish coat(s). Protect surrounding areas and existing University property during the work. 3. Damaged Hardwood Floor Area 4. Remove and replace approximately 600 square feet of 6 mil moisture protection in the crawl space. Remove and replace approximately 1,200 square feet of fir subfloor, consisting of two layers of 1/2 inch plywood. Remove and replace approximately 600 square feet of clear-grade oak flooring. Sand, stain, and finish approximately 600 square feet of the replaced wood flooring. Provide dustless sanding and additional finish coat(s). Restore painted game lines and court markings affected by the work. Cleaning and Disposal Provide final commercial construction cleaning for approximately 17,882.67 square feet. Remove all construction debris from the site. Provide dumpster service as required. The damage estimate identifies approximately one 20-yard dumpster for disposal. When bid is submitted by email, the subject line must show the Solicitation/File No. and submission must be received by bid deadline. Read the entire solicitation, including all terms, conditions and specifications within this packet. Bid Bonds: Are required on ALL bids and/or Public Works Project over $25,000, a bid bond must be submitted for each separate bid response. The bid bond shall be in an amount equal to 5% of the bid price submitted and alternates, if any. The bid security shall be in a form of a bid bond or certified check, or cashier's check. The Contractor is required to record the Contract with the Clerk of Court in Lincoln Parish and must provide the Purchasing Department with proof of filing. Additionally, a Performance Bond will be required at the time of the award of the contract.
