Renovation of a municipal facility in Sechelt, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) is seeking proposals from qualified flooring contractors to remove and dispose of the existing carpet and supply and install new commercial modular carpet tile at the SCRD Administration Building located at 1975 Field Road, Sechelt, BC. The building is approximately 18,000 square feet, contains more than 50 offices and meeting rooms, and supports approximately 100 staff across five departments. The work will be completed in phases within an occupied office environment and will include furniture moving, floor preparation, carpet installation, final cleaning, and restoration of each work area. The SCRD also requires hazardous materials testing of the existing flooring system before disturbance and requests optional pricing for removal and replacement of baseboard.
