This project consists of directional boring of approximately 5490 linear feet of electrical innerduct. Construction Method. a. General Requirements. Innerduct shall be placed by directional drilling in accordance with the lines, grades, details, and dimensions shown on the plans or as otherwise approved by the Owner. b. Installation. i. Installation procedures shall conform to the procedures specified by the innerduct manufacturer. ii. All innerduct shall be installed at a minimum depth of four (4) feet iii . Conduits will be placed no more than one ( 1) foot away from front left corner of existing transformers. In and out tails will be a minimum of three (3) feet above ground. iv. Contractor must field verify and locate all existing utilities including bury depth prior to construction. v. Contractor must cap or tape ends of conduit after installation to prevent intrusion of outside materials. The successful bidder is allowed 45 calendar days to complete the project from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $50 for each consecutive calendar day for which the work is not complete. Anticipated Notice to Proceed will be October 27, 2026.
