Renovation of a municipal facility in Gretna, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 6,213-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility.
The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following Renovation of the existing Elba Meat Market in Gretna VA. The interior space will be fully demo'd, including the roof. The upfit will include a new standing seam metal roof, new storefront vestibule, new punch storefront windows, re-use of one HVAC unit, and adding three additional units. Reuse of the existing electrical panel, metal stud and GPDW walls to create offices, conference and training space, breakroom, and additional support spaces for the program. Finishes will consist of carpet, LVT, porcelain tile, paint, wall covering, rubber base, 2x2 ceiling tile and grid. The building will receive new aluminum storefront windows, and brick sills. Brick removed will be recycled to be reused as the sills for rowlock design and corner of front storefront in the training room.
