Site work and paving for a road / highway in Gretna, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Town of Gretna is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to repair & restore nine (9) roadway sections of various streets within the Town. These roadway sections were damaged as part of numerous water line breaks that occurred during the winter and will require removal of mixed materials in the damaged street sections, such as asphalt, stone, and soil, and be replaced with a 6-inch of stone base and a new 2-inch asphalt topping. The streets are VDOT owned and maintained therefore all interested contractors shall be required to meet the requirements ofthe VDOT Road & Bridge Specifications for construction, material quality, drainage, and rideability.
