Parks & Recreation is requesting funding for a shoreline restoration project at Alpine Groves Park. Restoration will include revetment system approach. Florida-friendly landscaping planting specific to shoreline restoration will be funded through Tree Bank Fund; these will help stabilize the shoreline. Investigate feasibility of the construction of kayak launch that will provide water access to enhance the overall function of the park and amenities in the northwest district. In FY23 an FDEP resilient Florida Grant was received for $450,000. Other Funding is from the 2022 Capital Improvement Projects Fund. The project is included in the County 2026 - 2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of Oct 15,2026, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
