Site work and paving for a road / highway in Okanogan, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This is a Federally Funded project that provides for the improvement of 1.420 miles of Old Highway 97, beginning at MP 6.85 to MP 8.27. Improvements include minor realignment, shoulder widening, grading, and drainage. Includes removal and replacement of the old deteriorated guardrail. Work will include clearing and grubbing, roadway excavation including haul, full depth reclamation, crushed surfacing base/top course, project temporary traffic control, trimming and cleanup and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, these Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in the form of certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Okanogan County. The Board of Commissioners of Okanogan County, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in the bidding. The award of this contract, if made, will be to the lowest responsible bidder.
